How does it work?
A technological core with photo-catalytic process
The photo-catalytic device generates the photo-catalysis phenomenon through the light emitted by the lamp, creating and releasing highly reactive and oxidizing species (H2O2 and OH–) which attack pollutants (germs, bacteria and virus) degrading and eliminating them. The UV lamp (wavelength 220-300 nm) radiates on a surface of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2): this synergy causes a strong ionization of the humidity contained in the air and the consequent formation of H2O2 molecules which attack micro-organisms and inactivate them, destroying their DNA and breaking down other harmful molecules.
Free from allergens, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens
The result is a sanitizing action not only against viruses but also against other vicious enemies of our health such as VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and airborne bacteria.
With regard to the Sars-CoV-2 virus responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic, the photo-catalytic device allows a significant reduction in the viral load and a consequent and significant reduction in the risk of contagion.
